What Is Fotona IntimaLase®?
Fotona IntimaLase® uses Fotona’s Er:YAG laser technology — a different wavelength than CO2 — to deliver non-ablative, photothermal stimulation to vaginal tissue. Rather than creating injury to trigger healing, IntimaLase® works by gently heating tissue to stimulate collagen and elastin remodeling from within. The result is improved vaginal tone, elasticity, and natural lubrication without breaking the surface of the tissue.
Fotona also offers IncontiLase® — a companion protocol specifically targeting stress urinary incontinence — which is not available with the MonaLisa Touch® system.
